Brookson to complete 3 peaks challenge in aid of local charity St Rocco’s Hospice

Thursday 11 April 2019

Over the 10th and 11th of May, a group of Brookson staff will be taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for our local chosen charity, St Rocco’s Hospice. The team will be starting the three peaks challenge by completing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and then the final climb, Snowdon.

The Brookson team have spent a lot of time training for this challenge and, as a trial run, are climbing Snowdon twice on the 13th April.

Rachael Rooney, Head of Customer Services and Retention, who is taking part in the three peaks challenge says, "The team are really looking forward to this challenge, we know it will be tough, but it is for a great cause. We have been sticking to a strict training plan to make sure we are fit and ready to take on the three peaks in May”.

As not all staff will be able to participate in the National Three Peaks challenge, our Warrington office are hosting an internal challenge, so everyone has chance to get involved!

On Friday 10th May, while some of the Brookson team are completing the Three Peaks Challenge, the staff back at the Warrington office will be looking to cycle the distance from the Brookson office to Scafell Pike. To make sure we can complete the challenge internally our local leisure club, The Village Hotel Warrington, are lending a cycle bike to the Brookson team.
